Graduate of the University of Miami School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.A., 1984 Cum Laude), and Florida State University School of Law (J.D., 1987).
As Lead Counsel in the firm’s Bankruptcy and Real Estate department, Mr. Adams has filed thousands of bankruptcy cases and has helped many people file for relief under the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. Mr. Adams has also coordinated many real estate closings in the issuance of title insurance and provides services in general civil litigation, including insurance disputes and other types of general, commercial and contract litigation. Mr. Adams also handles cases in the areas of: Bankruptcy, Insurance Disputes and Real Estate. Mr. Adams’ present practice provides services to his clients in Florida, in both State and Federal Courts. Mr. Adams is a member of the Florida Bar, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Cuban-American Bar Association of Miami, and the Hialeah Miami Lakes Bar Association. Richard Adams is also a member of the Bars of the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle District of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the Bankruptcy Division of the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle District of Florida. Mr. Adams was born in Miami, Florida on January 31, 1963. He is fluent in Spanish.

As Associate Counsel in the firm’s Bankruptcy department, Ms. Acosta helps many people file for relief under the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. Ms. Acosta provides service to the firm’s clients in Florida, in both State and Federal Courts. Ms. Acosta is a member of the Florida Bar. She is also a member of the Bars of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the Bankruptcy Division of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Ms. Acosta was born in Miami, Florida. She is fluent in Spanish.
Louis Thaler received a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from University of Florida College in 1979 with high honors. He then attended the University of Florida College of Law where he received his Juris Doctor in 1982.

Monica Amor received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, magna cum laude, from the University of Miami in 1994 and then attended law school at the University of Miami School of Law, where she graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree in May 1997.
Later that same year, she was admitted to the Florida Bar and has been practicing law in Florida ever since. Since graduating from law school, Monica has worked at numerous law firms practicing in the areas of civil litigation and workers’ compensation defense, including her own law practice. In August 2014, she graduated with a LLM in Real Property Development from the University of Miami School of Law. In the last few years, Monica has been handling primarily consumer law and worker’s compensation cases, representing individuals against debt collectors and creditors, as well as individuals injured at work.

Lydia C. Quesada is a double alumni from the University of Miami. Having graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 1999 where she was a member of the Inter-American Law Review, and having received her B.A. with high honors from the University of Miami in 1995 with a double major in Criminology and Psychology.
She is eligible to practice in all Florida state courts, in the U. S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and in the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida. Ms. Quesada focuses her practice representing debtors and corporations in bankruptcy proceedings. She also handles commercial litigation and family law cases. She is a native Spanish speaker, and has also represented international clients in arbitration cases.
